Fleet Admiral (Russian: Адмирал флoта, Admiral flota), sometimes also referred to as Admiral of the Fleet, is presently the highest naval rank of the Russian Federation. It's a direct counterpart of corresponding Soviet naval rank, Admiral of the Fleet. A Fleet Admiral is a generic term for a senior admiral in command of a large group of ships, comprising a Fleet or, in some cases, a group of Fleets. ...
