Adorable were a British rock band of the 1990's who were associated with the shoegazing movement. They formed in 1991 in Coventry, and consisted of band members Piotr Fijalkowski (vocals, guitar), Robert Dillam (guitar), Wil (bass), Kevin Gritton (drums). They signed to Creation Records in 1992 and released their first single Sunshine Smile the same year. The single was NME's single of the week and remained 3 weeks in the UK single charts. This was not only a very good start surrounded by a great amount of hype, but it also turned out to be the peak of their career, as all following releases did less well. They released 2 albums before disbanding in late 1994. Rock is a form of popular music, usually featuring vocals (often with vocal harmony), electric guitars, a bass guitar, and a strong back beat; other instruments, such as keyboards (organ, piano synthesizers) and horns (saxophone, trumpet, trombone) are common in some styles, however, horns have been omitted from newer subgenres... The 1990s decade refers to the years from 1990 to 1999, inclusive. ... Shoegazing is a style of alternative rock that emerged in Ireland and the United Kingdom in the late 1980s. ... At least two different record labels called Creation Records have existed. ...
