The Aerospace Walk of Honor in Lancaster, California is a continually-growing venue for honoring test pilots who have significantly contributed to aviation and space research and development. Lancaster is located in the Antelope Valley, in close proximity to four flight test facilities, US Air Force Plant 42, Edwards AFB, Mojave Spaceport and Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, and is thus a center of the flight test community. The walk of honor is located on Lancaster Blvd between Sierra Highway to the east and 10th Street West, and is anchored by Boeing Plaza, which hosts a restored F-4 Phantom II mounted on a pylon. Three legends of aviation previously inducted into the Aerospace Walk of Honor were in attendance to welcome new members of the elite group.
The Walk of Honor is co-sponsored by The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Northrop Grumman, Clear Channel Communications, Verizon, Countrywide Home Loans and Waste Management.

The first and only walk in the nation honoring test pilots, Lancaster's Aerospace Walk of Honor acknowledges the City's fifty-year tradition as the nations's aerospace center and host City to a distinguished group of internationaly known experimental test pilots.
Established in 1990 by the Lancaster City Council, the Aerospace Walk of honor awards recognition for test pilots associated with Edwards AFB whose aviation careers are marked by significant and obvious achievements beyond one specific accomplishment.
