Ahmad Hassan Dani (born 1920) is a Pakistani archaeologist and linguist, and is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on South Asian archaeology and history. He is Professor Emeritus at the Quaid-i-Azam University and the director of Taxila Institute of Asian Civilizations. He was the first Muslim graduate of the Banaras Hindu University.
