Ahmed Maher (Arabic: احمد ماهر ) (born 1935) was the foreign minister of Egypt from 2001 until 2004. He studied law at Cairo University, served as a junior diplomat in Africa and is generally considered an 'outsider' but is a skilled career diplomat.
