Ai River or Love River is located in the island country of Taiwan (Chinese:臺灣.) , in the city of Kaohsiung (Chinese:高雄.) The river is a tourist attraction with many special activities and businesses sorrounding it. The river flows into Kaohsiung Harbor through the Old City and downtown. At night the bridges that cross the river are lit with neon lights that reflect off the water for a unique look. One can buy a ticket to ride the boats up and down a small portion of the river. The boats hold around 15 people and are piloted by professionals. The city of Kaoshung is modernized and many buildings with bright neon lights surround the river. There are restaurants lining the river that are frequented by tourists and locals because of the view.
