The game consisted of serveral missions in which the player controlled a sole airborne ranger who had things to do from killing an enemy officer, take out an enemey bunker, or even take out a sam-site. Before the mission began the player would be presented with a short overview of the mission and then have the possibility to prepare dropcontainers with additional weaponry and amunition. Entering the staging area the plane would first overfly the area and would drop the containers on command of the player. At the end of the area the ranger would jump the plane and parachute into the area. The player could steer the parachute during the drop. Touching down he would have to overcome several obstacles as enemey soldiers and officers, mine-fields, fox-holes and bunkers. The game placed the object randomly at the end of the area and the ranger would have to navigate tot the first, seccond and third container to pick up additional weapons and ammunition, without which the mission had little chance of succeeding. After completing the mission the ranger still had to navigate to a pick-up point without being killed and survive the pick-up by a plane. Not being in time resulted in a failed mission The game was very entertaining due to the fact that the player had to plan his mission carefully in advance, that is, select the right reinforcements, to complete the mission. Furthermore, during the mission the player had to use a variaty of techniques and weapons to stay alive, which included crawling, throwing handgrenades, evading the enemey and watch the ammo.
