PSV and Feyenoord closed in on Ajax, by each scoring five against their respective opponents, as Ajax and RKC Waalwijk settled for a 1-1 draw, in a game that was both adorned and marred by irregularities of different kinds.
As the Ajax support quite wittily sang: 'Oh, we are so sweet' and 'We want the fanfare back!', Ronald Koeman and general director Arie van Eijden walked up to the Ajax section, asking the fans to behave themselves.

Their band's crest (pictured) was designed by Freddie Mercury and includes the zodiac signs of all four members surrounding a Phoenix - two lions, to represent two Leos, a crab for Cancer and fairies representing Virgo.
All band members, especially Mercury, noted frustration and disappointment with the album, and as a result, took a break from the breakneck schedule of one or more albums a year, and focused during the year of 1979 totally on a new album to come out in 1980.
