Ajuda da Bretanha is a parish in the district of Ponta Delgada in the Azores. The population in 2001 was 1,334, its density is 102.4/km² and the area is 13.03 km²/1,303 ha. The name comes from the settlers from Brittany in the 16th century. The parish of Bretanha on July 10, 2002 was divided into this parish and Pilar da Bretanha. The parish is the northernmost in the Ponta Delgada and the island of São Miguel. It is accessed with the road linking Mosteiros and Ribeira Grande and also southeast to Ponta Delgada.
