St. Martin, Howorth, Latham) with the 'Akatziroi (perhaps Ak-Khazari, "White Khazars") who appear upon the Lower Volga in the Byzantine annals, and thence they have been deduced, though with less convincing proof, either from the 'Agathirsoi or the Katiaroi of Herodotus, iv.
