Akhenaten was a Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt, circa 1351-1334BC and possibly the father of Tutankhamun. He was served by Ay and believed himself to be spokesman for the god Aten/Aton. He moved the capital of Egypt from Thebes to Akhetaten and ruled there for 17 years. Later he was taken by the Celestial Order and imbued with power and indoctrinated for millennia. They then sent him out to recruit others for the Order but instead he slaughtered the heroes and Gods of Earth and planned an absolute takeover, until Thanos usurped the power of the Heart of the Universe and went back in time and stopped Akhenaten from preventing Dr. Doom from destroying his past self before he could be empowered by the Order. All of his actions were then prevented and he died a "normal" death in his own time.
