The Akita Bank, Ltd. (秋田銀行 in Japanese), is a Japanese bank that is headquartered in Akita City, Akita prefecture. While the bank’s core business comes from Akita prefecture, the bank does have several branches outside of the prefecture, notable in Koriyama city Fukushima prefecture. In addition, the bank also operates brnches in Sapporo, Morioka, Sendai, and Tokyo, all outside of AKita prefecture. History The current Akita Bank can trace its roots to the establishment of The 48th National Bank in January, 1879.
