Akmal Cheema is the District [Nazim]] of the Pakistan, Punjab province districts of Sialkot. He was elected as District Nazim in 2006; previously, he was Nazim of Sialkot tehsil. An industralist by profession, he belongs to Pakistan Muslim League (Q). His elder brother Ajmal Cheema is Punjab provincial minister for Industries.
