Alan John Bayard Wace (born July 13, 1879 in Cambridge, England; died November 9, 1956, in Athens, Greece) was an English archaeologist and director of the British School at Athens (1914-1923).

Wace was professor of classical archaeology at University of Cambridge from 1934 to 1944 and at the Farouk I University in Egypt from 1943 to 1952. Among his field projects were those at Sparta, Mycenae, Troy, Thessaly, Corinth, and Alexandria.
