Albany Park, a suburb in the London Borough of Bexley, is located between Sidcup and Old Bexley. The area has a lively and busy atmosphere to it although many people associate Albany Park as the forgotten region of Bexley. In recent years, Albany Park has seen its population of youths rise dramatically and in turn the formation of a new football club occurred. In July 2005, Woodside United were formed (with the majority of the players living in neighbouring West and East Woodside, two roads bordering on Bexley Park Wood) and were elected to the local goals football league.

The area borders Foots Cray Meadows, known locally as Five Arches (named after the five arched bridge situated across the river). It includes a large open park and a modern play park with a small unmarked concrete football/basketball pitch.

When speaking of Albany Park, many locals are referring in particular to Steyton Avenue. This road is itself a mini-high street with all the commodities you could expect from a town of any size.
