Albert Mathiez (18741932) was a French historian, known for his work on the French Revolution.


He was a student of Alphonse Aulard. His La Révolution français appeared in three volumes (1922/7). He wrote it as a socialist , pro-Robespierre interpretation, where Aulard had been pro-Danton.
