Albert Scanlon born October 10, 1935 in Manchester was a English football player. Albert came through the Manchester United youth system, making his debut for the club in 1954. Albert would help the club to two league titles (1956 and 1957). He would score 35 goals in his career, including 16 in 1959. Albert would leave Manchester in 1961 for Newcastle United. At the age of 22, he suffered a fractured skull in the Munich Air Disaster but made a full recovery and was back in action at the start of the 1958-59 season.
