Encyclopedia > Albert Square

Albert Square is the fictional location of the British soap opera Eastenders. It is located in the equally fictional London borough of Walford in London's East End, in the London postal district E20.

A central feature of the Square is the Queen Vic pub (located at #46 Albert Square). Other buildings of interest include:

  • No. 1, the doctor's surgery
  • No. 6, the car lot
  • No. 18-20, the Abercorn B&B
  • No. 45, home to the Fowler family, who have been in the series since it started in 1985

Albert Square is next to the Bridge Street Market.
