Albert Weisbord (1900 - 1977) was an early member of the American Communist Party. In the 1930s, Weisbord was the leader of a opposition group within the CP called the Communist Leauge of Struggle, that existed 1931 - 1937. Weisbord's group seamed to be in agreement with the policies of the TrotskyistInternational Left Opposition, but the CLS never fully joined the Trotskyists.
