Albion is a town located in Jackson County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,093.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 118.5 km² (45.8 mi²). 118.0 km² (45.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.44% water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 1,093 people, 413 households, and 311 families residing in the town. The population density is 9.3/km² (24.0/mi²). There are 461 housing units at an average density of 3.9/km² (10.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 95.61% White, 0.00% African American, 2.93% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.18% from other races, and 1.01% from two or more races. 0.55% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
