At Florida Stete University,Alex Barron was one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy,and as a senior,he won consencsus All-America first-team honors.
The Rams have changed thier original Astroturf, which was the cause of many injuries, into the new artificial grass turf, which hopefully will rebirth the explosive Rams offense.
AlexBarron has become a key player on the offensive line as the new right tackle.
FS Michael Hawthorne was released after a terrible beginning to the season and was replaced by former 5th string wide reciever Mike Furrey who in his second start at FS got an interception for a touchdown which helped the Rams beat the New Orleans Saints.
