Alex Bassi is a race cardriver born in the Paris, France on the 7 February1972, but competes under the American Flag. He competed in 125cc Shifter go kart races in California between 1991 and 1995. Then move to the Skip Barber Formula Dodge Series in 96, and competed there on and off successfully for 4 seasons. Later he raced in SCCAEndurance Racing, winning his class in the 2001 24 Hours of Moroso in a Porsche 944. He also won his class in the 12 Hours of Summit Point in 2003, after testing a Mini Cooper at the Nordschleife of the Nurburgring. In 2004, he competed in Central American GT Series in Guatemala.
