Alexander Armstrong is a British comedian. He was born in 1970 and has made several appearances on the satirical panel game Have I Got News For You, and rumour alleges that he might be the next permanent host. He is best known as one half of Armstrong and Miller, along with Ben Miller, whom he met in 1992 at Cambridge University. He starred as a misanthropic, animal-hating vet in the sitcom Beast. He is also the star of a series of TV commercials for Pimm's.
