Eremenko, an attacking midfielder, spent some time with Tromsø IL in Norway (his father played for the senior team, he himself played for the under-fifteens team) and FC Metz in France, before returning to Finland to make his Veikkausliiga debut with FC Jokerit in 2001. Next season he moved to HJK Helsinki, and eventually became the league's top player. He won two Finnish championships and one Finnish Cup with HJK. In the summer of 2004 Eremenko finally moved back abroad, joining US Lecce in Italy. After failing to make a major breakthrough in Serie A, he moved to FC Saturn on a four-year deal in the January 2006 transfer window. Eremenko could be a good choise, but i think he may need some time to break through and to get used to the new team.
Eremenko was the best man on the pitch, he scored a great volley and showed that he has great passing skills and vision.
Eremenko Junior will be a big name player in the future and would be a great addition to the HSV squad although I hope he'll stay with HJK for one more season.
