The Alfa Romeo SZ was a high performance limited production sports car/road-concept car built back in the 1990's with partnership via Zagato (although most of the design was discarded - the Z logo was kept).


A two seater hard roof version also had a convertible version (RZ (Roadster Zatato)).



Engine Spec: 3.0 litre V6 210 BHP


SZ : Only one official colour scheme was available: Red/grey


RZ : Only three official colour schemes were available: Red, Yellow and Black


Less than 1000 SZs were produced.

Alfa Romeo SZ and RZ Alfa Romeo SZ & RZ The Geneva Motorshow in 1989 saw the appearance of a new and controversially styled Alfa Romeo, the SZ (or ES30).
Designed in-house by Alfa Romeo, it was effectively a heavily tuned 75 chassis and mechanicals with a new bodyshell.
The latter shared few panels with the SZ and was some 100kgs heavier due to the strengthening required.

Alfa Romeo SZ (ES-30 or Experimental Sportscar 3.0 litre) was a high performance limited production sports car/road-concept car built between 1989 and 1991 with partnership via Centro Stile Zagato, Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and Centro Stile Fiat.
Mechanically and engine-wise, the car was based on the Alfa Romeo 75, production being carried out by Zagato at Via Arese near the Alfa factory in Milan.
The brakes were taken from the Alfa 75 Turbo Evoluzione.
