According to Blues chief executive Andy Dalton, management and senior players made a joint decision to eject Williams from the team camp over incidents which occurred during the team's stay in Perth, Australia, where they played the Western Force last weekend. "On several occasions (Williams's) behaviour has been deemed inappropriate within team conduct and protocol and on at least four occasions Williams has been addressed by either coach David Nucifora and manager Ant Strachan or the leadership group on behalf of the team," Dalton said.

Ali Williams was injured out of the 2007 Tri Nations as the All Blacks' locking problems intensified from the 61-10 second test win against France in Wellington on June 9. Williams has a fractured jaw. He was taken to hospital where reports confirmed the worse - the jaw is fractured. The length of his rehabilitation isn't yet known. But he will miss the Tri Nations campaign and there may be a question mark over his World Cup prospects. Williams copped the full force of aggressive French No 8 Sebastien Chabal when he attempted to make a front on tackle and took a shoulder to the face.
