Encyclopedia > Ali ibn Babwayh Qummi

Ali ibn Babwayh Qummi was one of great Shia Scholars in the time of great Ghaybat. His father wrote a letter to Imam Mahdi & asked him to pray for him to have a child as he could not have it as doctors had told him. Imam prayed & he had a child by God's Grace. He was always called: "Oh you that was born by the prayer of Imam Mahdi!". He is a great Shia scolars that we have many letters from our Imam calling him as BROTHER, GOOD FRIEND, etc.
