Alien 3 is a NES action game with lots of gun action for young boys ages 10 and up. Like in Metroid, there are female protagonists, evil aliens, alien worlds, a single person against a slew of villains, and large maze-like levels. Unlike Metroid though, the penal colony that the game takes place in is split up into different levels, instead of being one single level.
