Alien Bodies is an original novel written by Lawrence Miles and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Eighth Doctor and Sam. This story marks the first appearance of Faction Paradox, a time travelling Gallifreyan voodoo cult . The Faction's story arc begins here, and concludes in The Ancestor Cell.The book is regared as as "event" novel agmonst the faction Paradox arc. Other event novels in this are, in order: Alien Bodies, Unnatural History, Interference: Book one, Interference: Book two,The Taking of Planet 5, The Shadows of Avalon, The Ancestor Cell and, argubly [[The Gallifrey Chronicles]. Dark sam makes her first appearance here, a plot point resolved in Unnatural History. A humanoid TARDIS is featured, foreshadowing the character of Compassion.
