McHose serves in the Assembly on the Budget Committee, the Family, Women and Children's Services Committee and the Military and Veterans' Affairs Committee.


Assemblywoman McHose has served on the Franklin Borough Economic Development Committee since 1995. She was a member of the Sussex County 250th Anniversary Committee from 2002-2003. Senator Littell is also part of the first father-daughter team to serve simultaneously in the New Jersey Legislature, together with his daughter, Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose.
From 1992 to 2003 Senator Littell served as the Senate Budget and Appropriations Chair, and since 2004 he has served as the Senate Budget Officer.
In 2001, Littell was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
