Elise Neal's departure It is said2 that Elise Neal was being paid approximately $5,000 per episode compared to Lisaraye McCoy's purported $20,000-per-episode salary, and that Ms. Neal expressed concern over that pay differential to the show's producers. Ms. Neal cited her considerable body of previous work compared to that of Ms. McCoy, whom she felt was less experienced. She therefore couldn't understand why Lisaraye was being paid that amount of money, particularly since the show was struggling financially. No compromise was reached, and Elise walked. At this point the show seemed a likely candidate for cancellation, but producer Will Smith's industry clout was enough to encourage the network to keep the series in their lineup, and the show was moved from its Tuesday anchor spot to a Monday lead-out spot.
Ratings and broadcast history All of Us debuted on UPN on September 16, 2003. The series aired on Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c for its first two seasons. For the 2005-06 season, UPN moved All of Us to Mondays at 8:30/7:30c, airing after One on One. All of Us was originally cancelled at the end of the 2005-06 television season; however, the series was resurrected and placed on The CW's fall 2006 lineup, airing on Sundays at 7:30/6:30c after Everybody Hates Chris. Due to lackluster ratings, the show (along with the rest of The CW's "urban" sitcoms) moved back to its former Monday night timeslot in early October 2006. One on One is an American sitcom originally based in Baltimore and later based in Los Angeles. ...

During its single season on The CW, All of Us averaged around 2.74 million viewers per week.[citation needed] It was the fourth most watched sitcom (out of five, excluding the prime time encores of Reba) on The CW throughout the 2006-07 season. All of Us finished the season at #140 in the ratings, surpassing only The Game (which, surprisingly, was renewed for the 2007-08 season), America's Next Top Model (encore presentations) and the cancelled Runaway. The show was regularly beaten by fellow CW sitcoms Reba, Everybody Hates Chris and Girlfriends and all of the CW drama and reality series (excluding encores). âThe CWâ redirects here. ...

- During its run on UPN, All of Us used a full opening credit sequence featuring clips of the cast members from the series inside photograph-like frames laid on a table. This sequence was shortened and the theme song was sped up slightly after Elise Neal, Terri J. Vaughn and James Vincent left the show. When the series moved to The CW for its final season, the opening sequence was dropped in favor of just the show's title card, and the cast members were credited in the opening tag scenes instead.
