It is based on the true story of the Sandringham Company, also known as the 1/5th (Territorial) Battalion of The Norfolk Regiment, and its mysterious disappearance in action at Gallipoli in 1915. Commanded by Captain Frank Beck, their estate manager, the men advanced into battle, were enveloped in a strange mist and never seen again.
