He is the martyred leader of Shi'as of Pakistan. He was born on 25th of November 1946 at the Village Pewaar of Kurram Agency, Parachinar in the house of Fazal Hussain Shah. His family belongs to the Hussaini branch of Syuds, which is descended from the 4th Shia Imam Hazrat Ali Ibn Hussain Zain-ul-Abideen. The specific local branch name was Doerazai. He received his primary education at his hometown's Gopvernment primary school and later on went Parachinar to complete his Matriculation. Later he showed interest in relgious studies and got admission in Madressa Jafria Parachinar from where he went Najaf for further studies. During his stay at Najaf he was the active supporter of Imam Khomenei who those days was was exiled in Najaf. In 1973 he returned home and after got married and then in 1974 he went Qom to join Hauza Ilmia. In 1975 and 1977 he went for Haj. He played leading role in defending the area. He founded “Alamdar Foundation" comprising around 1200 area youths and made himself its head.
