Allison Wolfe is a DC-based singer and performer. In addition to her current band, Partyline, she has played a significant role in the riot grrrl movement of the 90s. With bands such as Cold Cold Hearts and Bratmobile, Allison provided a distinct voice in the third-wave feminist movement. During spring break 1991, Allison and Molly went to Washington, DC to follow Beat Happening and Nation of Ulysses on tour and try to work on a new form of Bratmobile.
Smith was co-author, with her brother, of the much-revered TV pop culture fanzine Teenage Gang Debs when Allison and Molly asked her to jam with them.
Allison's feminism and activism found many significant outlets and Erin's guitar playing grew more accomplished and technical while always staying true to her minimalist pop leanings.

Allison just said the above and I say ROCK ON, so far, while I have only had a smattering of experience being IN this festival, what is impressing me the most is that small local venues are stepping up to the plate to play host.
