Tigre Partido is a partido or municipality of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, situated in the north of Greater Buenos Aires.
The partido is bounded to the north by the Paraná de las Palmas River, to the northeast by the RÃo de la Plata, to the southeast by San Fernando Partido, to the south by San MartÃn Partido, to the southwest by General Sarmiento Partido and to the west by Escobar Partido.
The partido was officially founded in 1790, but the settlements were hit by floods and the town was moved to the present site of Tigre, at the mouth of the Luján River by 1820.
Merlo is a partido of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
It covers 66 square miles (170 square km) and is bordered by the partidos of Morón and Ituzaingó (northeast), La Matanza (southeast), Marcos Paz (southwest), and Moreno and the RÃo de la Reconquista (northwest).
About half of the partido now lies within the Gran Buenos Aires urban area, and the population density is less than that of most of the partidos.
