Alpha is a village located in Iron County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 198.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 5.05% water.

As of the census² of 2000, there are 198 people, 89 households, and 50 families residing in the village. The population density is 81.3/km² (210.6/mi²). There are 118 housing units at an average density of 48.5/km² (125.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.49% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.51% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
