AlunCairns is the third Tory AM bidding to become an MP The Conservative AM AlunCairns has been selected to fight the Vale of Glamorgan seat at the next general election.
AlunCairns is the third sitting Conservative AM, to be selected to fight a Westminster seat.
He added that, when elected, Mr Cairns along with Jonathan Morgan, David Davies and David Jones would be able "to share with Parliamentary colleagues their experience of working in the National Assembly, something that will be essential for the party as it develops policies for all parts of the UK".
