Alva Adams (May 14, 1850November 1, 1922) was a United States politician who served as Governor of Colorado. He was born in Iowa County, Wisconsin. He served as governor of Colorado for a few months in 1889, from 1897 to 1899 and for a few months in 1905. He died in Battle Creek, Michigan. He is not to be confused with Alva B. Adams, the former United States Senator from Colorado.
