Alvin "Youngblood" Hart (born 1965) is an American blues musician who also experiments with ragtime and dixieland. His music has been compared to that of Robert Johnson.

ALVIN W HART, is a native son of the old Buckeye state, having been born on the parental farmstead in Augusta township, Carroll county, Ohio, on the 27th of December, 1860.
Hart became associated with others in the organization of the Whitacre Fire Proofing Company, of Waynesburg, and he was bade vice-president and assistant general manager of the company, which he also represents as general traveling salesman.
Hart is known as a man of untiring energy, keen business acumen and marked administrative ability, and he brings to the new industry that practical equipment of enterprise and progressive ideas which will make its expansion consecutive and rapid, as results have already shown.

Born in Oakland, Calif., Hart accompanied his parents on summer trips to his grandparents' home in the hills of northern Mississippi, and it was there that his passion for acoustic blues was first sparked.
Hart was signed to a management contract and recorded a demo that caught the ears of some executives at the Okeh subsidiary of Epic Records.
In the summer of 1996, Hart was tapped for the Further Festival, which continued the spirit of the Grateful Dead after the death of guitarist/bandleader Jerry Garcia in the summer of 1995.
