Biography and career

A native of London, Ontario, Alycia Purrott, who is 5' 3" (1.60 m), has been a model and actress since the age of 14, starting with commercials and bit parts. In 1998, less than a year after becoming a performer, she won the best actress award at Ontario's Sears Drama Festival for playing Rudy in Asleep on the Wind. She subsequently had major roles in two 2000 made-for-TV films and briefly settled in Southern California where she went on to study broadcast journalism.
