About: AmIRC is the irc client for Amiga. Its something, that allmost every Amiga user uses. It requires MUI (Magic User Interface), internet connection (Genesis, AmiTCP, Miami, MiamiDX) and AmigaOS 2.x or later.

AmIrc is the first program to start when I turn on Pegasos, and the last one closed before I turn off Pegasos.
I run AmIRC 3.5.25 (which apparently some people claim to be very buggy) and I mostly have three AmIRC's up (three different servers) on my Pegasos, which is on almost 24/7.
