The Amaravati River is a tributary of Kaveri River in southern India. The Amaravati river begins in the Anjanda valley of Kerala State in India, between the Annamalai Hills and the Palni Hills. It descends in a northerly direction and widens at Kallapuram, the mouth of the Ajanda valley in Udumalpet. It joins with the Kaveri in Karur.
