Amarok (formerly known as amaroK or AmaroK) is an audio player application for KDE, which is released independantly from the kmultimedia package, and away from the central release cycle of KDE. It is now thought to be the most popular KDE-based audio player because of it's extensive feature list, and may replace older applications such as Noatun, in future KDE releases.
