Amasa Mason Lyman (March 30, 1813February 4, 1877) (commonly known as Amasa M. Lyman) was an early leader in the Latter Day Saint movement. He was briefly an Apostle under Joseph Smith, Jr., filling a place in the Quorum of the Twelve that had been temporarily vacated by Orson Pratt. He resumed his place in the Quorum under the leadership of Brigham Young after Smith's death. Much later, in the Utah Territory, he rejected Young's leadership and became the president of Godbeites church (a short-lived Latter Day Saint denomination).
