In demonology, Amdukias is a demon who has thirty legions of demons under his command (29 according to other authors). He has the rank of Great Duke. Amdukias is associated with the thunder, it being said that his voice is heard during storms. In other sources, all types of musical instruments can be heard but not seen when he appears. He can make trees bend atwill.
He is depicted as a human with claws instead of hands and feet, the head of a unicorn, and a trumpet to symbolise his powerful voice. According to other sources, this demon is depicted as a unicorn, and changes into a man under the request of the conjurer.
And while the band has learned the lessons of the music well from their predecessors in Europe and Asia (where this genre seems to be more alive), they need to add one more thing to the mix before they're ready to strike: some level of originality.
Amduscias needs to find their own unique niche in an already-crowded genre to stand out.
Until then, Amduscias is an album that shows a young band trying to find their foothold, and not doing anything spectacular to draw attention to themselves.
Amduscias start to show signs of life with "Hell On Earth" which distinguishes the band as at least having some potential.
Most fl metal succeeds in conveying sorrow or mourning; Amduscias merely plays off as a cheap imitator with little or no understanding of the genre's appreciation for the depth of human sadness.
Amduscias is Ryuichi on bass and vocals, Tomoya on guitars, and Mike I on drums.
