History
Casey Chaos started his first ever band, Disorderly Conduct, as a teen. They released a vinyl Amen and the Atrocity demo, played several gigs and became fairly well known around the hardcore punks of the Eastern United States. Disorderly Conduct split up when Casey moved away from Florida at around the age of 17 or 18. Chaos had previously filled in live on bass guitar with deathrock legends Christian Death at some of the band's reunion tour shows in 1993, playing in place of original bassist James McGearty. The following year in the basement of his Los Angeles home, playing all instruments himself, Chaos released an EP under the name "Amen". We Have Come For Your Parents In 2000 Amen embarked on writing a new album, entitled We Have Come For Your Parents, which subsequently became the bands most successful album. The album released three singles; "The Price Of Reality", which had a controversial video to go with it.'Too Hard to Be Free' and The Waiting 18'. The music is, as always, based on 'metal based punk', while the lyrics concentrated on sociopolitical issues such as being treated badly by a/your employer("In Your Suit"), the cold-bloodedness of popularity ("CK Killer") and religion ("Mayday"). In 2002, Amen beacme the first unsigned band ever to play on the main stage at Reading Festival.[citation needed] The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. ...

The 2005 "last time" tour, was completely postponed after Chaos suffered a ruptured Hernia, and was unable to medically play a gig for about 6 weeks. The band returned in the summer of 2005 playing in late June and until mid August at a series of small clubs and ended the tour at the London astoria with an aftershow party for all who attended.
New album At the last few shows the band played during 2006 they performed a couple of new songs. A new band lineup was recently revealed at the Angry Brigade website and plans for a tour of Europe seem to be in the works. The new album should be coming out in 2008.
UK Tour issues Due to difficulties with a number of promoters, a third scheduled UK tour has been thrown into doubt; "Now, the problem we have is that to make this tour happen, each promoter on the tour has to pay 50% of the bands fee UPFRONT, something which is standard for every single touring band. Along with this damn Postal strike in the UK, and some promoters leaving things to the last minute, not all of these advances have been paid. We need this money to pay the bills and get this tour on the road. As of today, Amen are ready to come, but without these advances, it simply isn’t possible to make this tour happen. So before any rumours fly around about Amen cancelling this tour or any other, these are the facts. If the promoters do their bit, Amen will do theirs and get on the plane to the UK." (UK Promoter)
