The AAUW Association — advocate for women's issues and legislation
The AAUW Educational Foundation [EF] and The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund [LAF] — EF is a charitable donation organization, the oldest & one of the largest sources of graduate education funding for women in the US. It educates the public and awards fellowships, grants and research, and special projects with funds donated by AAUW members and others. LAF is a key program within EF and provides funding and a support system for women in higher education who are seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination, sexual harassment or denial of tenure. It is the nation's largest legal fund working to eliminate sex discrimination in higher education.
Among the highlights of their activities is the annual awarding of over $4 million in grants and scholarships by the AAUW Educational Foundation.
