Both companies were combined under the Tiger name in 1999 then changed to OCB Reprographics in July of 2002, when they added a Sorrento Valley location, in addition to their corporate location in Mission Valley.
In early 2001, Universal Reprographics South, Inc. was acquired by OCB's parent company, AmericanReprographicsCompany, and Chuck Hayes was made president of this new division.
OCB Reprographics joined forces in 1997 with AmericanReprographicsCompany (ARC), a fast-growing, nationwide company on the cutting edge of both technology and management.
AmericanReprographicsCompany (NYSE: ARP) was already the nation’s largest and fastest growing provider of outsourced reprographics when the company came to CHS’ attention.
ARC was a recapitalization transaction wherein CHS acquired a 50% interest alongside a proven management team.
With sales of $450 million and operations in 135 cities and 30 states, ARC is approximately 8x larger than its next largest competitor and the only reprographicscompany with a national footprint.
