Margeaux Kramer was the high class and spoiled friend of the rather lower class Punky. Her character was a slight satire on the behavior of high-class children of successful parents and was built in the same fashion as the character of "Master" Eric Bates in The Toy. The Toy is a 1982 comedy film starring Richard Pryor, Jackie Gleason, Ned Beatty and Scott Schwartz. ...


At the age of 5 she won the National Tap Dance Championship after which she was discoved on Star Search as a singer. She would go on to have a steady line of acting jobs for the next several years. From the years of 1983 to 1994 Foster racked up just under twenty film, voice over and TV credits which included roles in Troop Beverly Hills, Webster, The Wonder Years, Quantum Leap and Life Goes On.
