Fictional character biography
When Japan was under attack by a large dragon, the X-Men and Japan's main hero, Sunfire, were busy dealing with it. However, lots of property was destroyed during the battle, including the houses of innocent citizens. One of these poor folks was Amiko's mother. When their house collapsed, her mom got killed. Amiko somehow managed to survive and was found by the X-Man Wolverine. Wolverine promised to take care of the little girl, but because of his dangerous life as an X-Man, Logan thought he wasn't suited to be a father. He handed over Amiko to an adoption agency which placed her with bad foster parents. When Logan wanted to check up on Amiko years later but didn't get any return calls, he investigated the matter. After dealing with the foster parents and some local mobsters, Logan decided to place Amiko in the hands of his good friend, the ronin Yukio. When the Weapon X organization resurfaced, Amiko was kidnapped by Sabretooth who killed her despite Weapon X' wishes not to.
